  • Using the Patient Access app you are also able to request repeat prescriptions.
  • It addition to booking online you are also able to cancel your appointment online if you no longer require it. This will free it up for other patients.

GP Services Extended Access – Hub Service

Sutton GP Services are providing extra appointments in the evenings and weekends for patients who live within the London Borough of Sutton.

Appointments are available from 18:30 to 20:00, Monday to Friday, and 08:00 to 20:00, Saturday and Sunday, including bank holidays.

You can book an appointment by calling the surgery on 02039043331. Speak to our reception staff for more information.

If the practice is closed and you need a GP or Nurse appointment (on weekends only), then please ring 07578 813838 or 07479 819 677 for an appointment. You can also contact the out-of-hours service SELDOC on 020 8693 9066 or NHS 111. They will also be able to book an appointment for you with a GP should the practice be shut and there are no appointments available at the Extended Access Service.

General Information

An appointment is required to see the doctor or nurse.

Appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance. We will always endeavour to let you book an appointment with the doctor of your choice at a time that suits you best. This is obviously not always possible especially at times of high demand (usually around the holiday periods) and when doctors are on holiday.

We are constantly reviewing the appointment system to offer a range of availability.

Appointments with the Practice Nurses

Our Practice Nurses are available by appointment for injections, diagnostic tests, smears, new patient checks, routine blood tests and blood pressure checks. We also run clinics specifically for diabetes, asthma, well baby, ante-natal, Coronary Heart Disease, hypertension and advice on stopping smoking.

Telephone Advice / Consultations

Telephone Advice may include queries about a prescription, a test result, a hospital appointment, a referral, a form that needs to be completed or advice about a minor ailment.

A Receptionist is on duty Monday to Friday between 8am and 6.30pm to take your calls. If you wish to speak to the Doctor please leave your message with the Receptionist who will pass your request to the GP or Nurse.  If your query is very urgent, please explain the problem to the Receptionist in detail so that they can prioritise the call.

Advice is also available from the NHS 111 service by calling 111 from your landline or mobile phone.

Free Text Reminders

This service reminds you of an appointment via a text message. All registered patients are automatically opted into the service.

Please ensure if you wish to use this service we have your correct mobile telephone number and inform us as soon as possible if your number changes.

If you do not wish to subscribe please contact the surgery and inform reception that you wish to opt out.

Chaperones

If you anticipate that you may require an examination by the Doctor and feel that you would like a chaperone to be present, please make reception aware at the time of booking your appointment so that this can be arranged. Alternatively bring along a member of your family or friend to your appointment.

Cancelling an Appointment

If you are unable to attend for your appointment please tell us in good time so that we are able to offer another patient the use of that appointment.

You can use one of the following methods:

  2. By Telephone:
    Please call us on 0203 904 3331.
  3. In Person: Call into your surgery and let the receptionist know in person.

We can offer your appointment to someone else and therefore help to reduce waiting times.

As part of our commitment to all our patients we monitor the efficient use of appointments. If a patient regularly fails to attend a booked appointment, the practice reserves the right to remove them and their family from the practice list.
